Since the mid-19th century, its been illegal to be homosexual in India, resulting in harassment of LGBT people, and forcing many of the estimated 50 million gay Indians into the shadows of society. But that archaic law has finally been overturned. On this edition, we hear about the gay community’s struggle for legal rights in India, and the prospects for cultural acceptance, after a historic victory in court.
