From September 10th through the 14th the World Trade Organization will hold its fifth ministerial meeting since its inception in 1995. Trade representatives head to Cancun, Mexico, with a number of critical — and contentious — issues on the table, including agriculture subsidies and opening public sectors to international investment.
On this edition of Making Contact, we take a look at the WTO, public interests, and civil society opposition to an international trade regime.
